SOUR POWER® BELT PACKAGES are the latest addition to the widely recognized brand. The new BELT PACKAGES were created to appeal to a broader consumer audience. “We intend to leverage the success of our Straw Package line which is a big win amongst our consumers”, President Roberta Cappel states. “SOUR POWER® has a significant presence in the market, and adding another format of the popular belts is a natural extension of the growing portfolio.”
The SOUR POWER® BELTS PACKAGES will be available in three flavor varieties: Sour Power Quattro®, a 4 color/4 flavor belt, Strawberry, and the newest flavor combination to join the line- Blazpberry® which is a Red & Blue Raspberry 2-color belt.
The BELT PACKAGES graphics are in a horizontal format and packed in shelf ready displays, and in 12x24ct cartons. The new format of the BELT PACKAGES will allow for in-line or peg merchandising. The bright and vivid colors and visual impact the BELT PACKAGES will be sure to create excitement with all fans of the SOUR POWER® brand. 96ct shippers will also be available to support display programs.
Dorval was instrumental in launching the sour craze in the United States in 1985 with SOUR POWER®, and celebrated the brand’s 30th anniversary in 2015. SOUR POWER® BELT PACKAGES join the rest of the Straws and Belts in wrapped, unwrapped or bulk format in a variety of package types and flavors as well as SOUR POWER® SOUR POPPING CANDY introduced in 2016.
